Thorp has a passion for location photography. He grew up looking at the scenery of South Western England. Dartmoor, particularly, served as his playground. The natural beauty of the area instilled a deep appreciation of the great outdoors.

Through digital composite work, Thorp plays on the reality of a landscape which begs the viewer to ask more of the work and question why they have been created.
