Richard Whadcock has had a busy year with shows in Australia and talk of an upcoming show in New York. We are delighted to have six new pieces, two oils on canvas and four on paper.

Richard Whadcock is a contemporary artist specialising in atmospheric landscape paintings. He captures ever changing dramatic atmospheres, from silent stillness to squally days. The landscape is only a starting point - painting itself eventually takes over and the works take their own path to create unique, more layered landscapes.

Whadcock studied at Fine Art at Bristol Polytechnic from 1986-89 and has an MA from the Royal College of Art.
